Whether you've been to the Steaua Stadium or not, this section gives you the opportunity to discover it in a way you probably haven't had the chance to do yet. If you come to a match or any other event, you only have access to the sector where you have the ticket. In the virtual environment, however, you can walk almost everywhere. It's an experience that we want to complement the information you have about the stadium with, which offers new perspectives, perhaps inaccessible on the occasion of a physical visit.
The virtual tour provides visual information and satisfies a natural curiosity, including for those who are too far away to come to the stadium easily, while the on-site tour adds sensorial data, the thrill of being at a certain moment in a certain space. The two do not exclude each other, but complement each other.
In the physical tour of the stadium, you will be able to feel how comfortable the seats on the reserve bench are, but for reasons related to the protection of the pitch, you will not get to see the stadium from the center of the field or from the penalty spot; in the virtual tour you can cross the field in all directions without any restrictions. You can simulate a sprint or even the path of a ball towards the goal. The virtual tour does not annihilate an experience, but comes in the addition of everything we want to know about this arena. And there are a few more advantages to consider: you are not depending on the weather, it is not raining, it is not cold, it is not windy and it is free. You can linger as long as you want and come back anytime.
We made the 3D digital mapping of that part of the stadium that we thought could be of interest to the general public and from the desire to expand the functionality of the building in the virtual area, to create new tools to capitalize this space. The way in which the virtual experience can be developed depends only on the level of imagination and the dose of daring. We can connect existing spaces in the stadium with those that are miles away, we can customize areas that exist in reality with virtual elements.
We can cross the barrier between real and virtual by creating a single environment in which the public can move, interact with predefined elements, access e-Commerce type functions, such as electronic purchase and reservation systems, subscription to newsletters or feedback forms. To be able to constantly evaluate what is happening, we have integrated analysis and statistical functions that allow understanding how users use the 3D model – which are the most frequently used routes or where they spend the most time inside the stadium.
